Terms of Service
By purchasing products from A1 Rituals Candles & Co. (“we,” “our,” “us”), you (“Purchaser,” “you”) agree to use and handle all products safely and in accordance with the instructions, warnings, and guidelines provided by A1 Rituals Candles & Co.
These Terms apply to all retail and wholesale purchases.
You confirm that you are of legal age to purchase our products in your province, state, or jurisdiction and that our products are legal to purchase and own in your area of residence.
Wholesale & Resale
Wholesale purchasers are responsible for ensuring that A1 Rituals products are stored, displayed, handled, and resold safely and in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
Wholesale purchasers agree not to remove, alter, or obscure product safety labels, warnings, or care instructions provided by A1 Rituals Candles & Co.
Retailers are responsible for providing customers with applicable product care and safety information when reselling A1 Rituals products.
Safe Use Agreement
You agree to:
- Follow all product care and safety instructions provided with your order or on our website.
- Keep candles, wax melts, and related products away from children, pets, flammable materials, and unattended environments.
- Never leave a burning candle unattended.
- Burn candles on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
- Extinguish candles after 3–4 hours of continuous burning.
- Store unused products in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
Limitation of Liability
By purchasing and using our products, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless A1 Rituals Candles & Co., its owners, and affiliates from:
- Any liability for incidental or consequential damages.
- Any third-party claims for damages or injury.
- Any liability arising from misuse, neglect, improper handling, or failure to follow provided instructions.
A1 Rituals Candles & Co. is not responsible for damages or injuries resulting from improper use, unsafe handling, unauthorized modification, or non-compliance with product safety guidelines. This includes, but is not limited to, damage caused by open flames, improper placement, unsafe storage, or failure to follow recommended burn practices.
Candle Safety Statement
For your safety and the longevity of your candle:
- Trim the wick to ¼ inch before each burn.
- Allow the wax to melt across the surface before extinguishing to help prevent tunnelling.
- Keep candles away from drafts, fans, and vents.
- Keep candles away from children, pets, and flammable objects.
- Never leave a burning candle unattended. Extinguish before leaving the room.
- Discontinue use when approximately ½ inch of wax remains to help prevent container overheating.
- Store unused products in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Avoid burning candles longer than 3–4 hours at a time to preserve candle quality and safety.
Failure to follow these guidelines may result in fire, injury, or property damage. Always burn responsibly.
